An elegant, imposing French jewelry cabinet, chest of drawers or side table with high legs,
offers extensive storage options in the drawers.
The rotating top, with the original mirror on the inside,
reveals a compartment-rich interior space that is also extendable.
Two drawers are built in at the front.
This beautiful piece of furniture is completely veneered with rosewood
and inlaid with floral marquetry of various types of wood,
resulting in a unique color spectrum.
Includes a key for all functioning locks;
the top drawer must be fully retracted
after which the sheet must be pressed.

Note: This pre-war piece of furniture still wears
the scars of a shrapnel impact caused by a bombing
that took place in France during World War II.
The top was once repaired, but the underside was not;
the bottoms of the drawers have sometimes been replaced.
