Original vintage Swiss railway travel poster for Lotschental (Lötschental / Loetschental) Schwiez Suisse Switzerland Station Goppenstein Bern Lotschberg Simplon featuring a colour photograph of a tree and traditional wooden farm building on a hill in a valley with snow topped alpine mountains below the blue sky, the stylised title in yellow lettering above and rest of the text in bold red and yellow lettering below. The BLS Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon railway operated services from 1913 until 2006 when it merged with Regionalverkehr Mittelland AG to form BLS AG. Located in the Valais region, Goppenstein is a small hamlet with a train station on the south side of the Lotschberg Tunnel. Printed in Switzerland. Art Institut Orell Fussli AG Zurich.
