Tray - Silver - Papal States / Rome - Italy - Late 18th century

Silver tray with hallmark of the Vatican State dated before the French domination (1809) as the silver Vatican hallmarks before that period were made with two crossed keys under an umbrella like the one marked on this tray. So the tray is likely to be dated around the late 18th Century. Another hallmark showing the letters "GA", probably refers to the silversmith. The tray measures 54x37 cm and weights 2470 grams. It comes from a family inheritance, belonging to Pacelli family which is the family of Pope Pius XII.
