Trenton Doyle Hancock (American, 1974) Jumbled Bunny, 1997 Mixed media on paper 58-3/4 x 30-1/2 inches (149.2 x 77.5 cm) EXHIBITED: Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, "Trenton Hancock: The Life and Death #1," October 21, 2001-January 20, 2002. Trenton Doyle Hancock created a fantastical narrative through a complex of characters and plots similar to comics and pulp fiction. Raised in Paris, Texas, Hancock attended A&M and Temple University. Hancock's artwork can be seen in the permanent collections in the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of Art, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
