Tresna Suryawan was a painter who, like his father, Hendra Gunawan, loved to paint the traditions of Indonesia. Here, in his signature style, he paints a dancer who is just about to perform her dance, as she passes through the curtains of the stage. While the curvatures of her body indicates that she is an adult. her face, seems to suggest her youth.
