Provenance:
Founded in 1979 by Jay Bauer and Anthony Hopenhajm, Trianon is a New York City-based firm renowned for its bold and whimsical designs, many of which include organic materials, such as rare seashells, and colorful gemstones. Notably, Trianon acquired the iconic American jewelry brand Seaman Schepps in 1992, a firm that designs pieces of similar aesthetic. Their pieces range from Art Deco-inspired links to whimsical natural shells comprising nature’s infinite color palette. Today Trianon can be found at their boutiques in New York City, Palm Beach, and Nantucket, with their unique pieces highly sought-after at auction.
