Trio of Viking Bronze Finger Rings

**First Time At Auction**

Northern Europe, Viking / Norse culture, ca. 800 to 1100 CE. Three wonderful cast-bronze finger rings, each with its own unique style. First is a simple ring with a thin band and a thick top portion with incised diagonal grooves, giving it a spiralized appearance. The second ring has a thin shank and a diamond-shaped table with a planar midrib terminated by twin raised nubbins. Last is a ring with a thick band and a face displaying a shallow incised zigzag motif. All three rings have lovely dark-green patina and are certainly wearable works of ancient art! Size of largest (diagonal grooves): 0.875" W (2.2 cm); US ring sizes: 8.25 (diagonal grooves), 8.25 (zigzag motif), and 8.5 (diamond face).
