Beautiful 1966 Triumph Spitfire MK2 Roadster offered. This very rare MK2 version comes in British Racing Green and features a beautiful Tartan red leather interior, sought-after wire wheels and the distinctive MK2 nose. Always maintained down to the last detail. Owned by 1 owner since 1995 (25 years) . Completely body-off restored in 2008, including all of the details. A unique opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors, this MK2 is a very sustainable investment. Exterior: Sprayed in the early 2000s in the beautiful colour British Racing Green, the paintwork is still neat, all of the seams and panels fit neatly and are damage-free. The chrome parts such as bumpers and door handles are neat and show no traces of ageing. The Spitfire is equipped with a stainless steel dual-exhaust system with 2 pipes and with spaghetti inlet and outlet manifolds. The wire wheels are sprayed to match the colour of the Spitfire, fitted with good tyres and balanced. In 2014, the soft-top was replaced and the soft-top frame coated. Interior: Interior completely replaced in 2014; the typical bucket seats reupholstered in Tartan red leather with beige piping, door panels and complete flooring replaced in matching colour. The dashboard is original and fitted with Jaeger instruments and a nice walnut Moto-Lita steering wheel with inscription. Truly a breathtaking classic, restored with great attention to detail. Technique: Triumph started with the MK2 series in 1965. A more powerful 1147cc engine with 67 HP was quite an improvement at that time. This unit has been completely restored, including the technical side of the car! The engine starts well, runs neatly and is fully tuned. Also: all of the fluids have been replaced, the suspension has been replaced, the brakes have been checked, fitted with a new master cylinder and a clutch cylinder.
