Triumph - Spitfire MK3 - 1970

[ translate ]

Really nice 1970 Triumph Spitfire MK3 in very good condition. A lovely car, well-maintained and with numerous spare parts, both used as well as new. This Triumph is equipped with the famous Gold Seal engine! Thus an engine that supplies 1296 cc and 83 HP, coupled to a four-speed gearbox, and it drives fine. The original engine replaced by Triumph, and it does not have the cooling issues that the original engine had, therefore Gold Seal, so original Triumph. These engines are better than the factory-installed engines, and Triumph delivered these Gold Seal engines in gold-coloured lacquer as a standard. See pictures. The was restored about 5 years ago, and the paintwork is still in a very nice condition. The interior is also beautiful! Beautifully restored, only 1 small panel missing in the driver’s legroom and a piece of vinyl at the left door panel, the fuel gauge and the cooling fluid temperature gauge sometimes falter. A new battery has been mounted as well as various new parts such as an alternator, petrol pump and various filters. The soft-top is virtually new and the original and rarely used tonneau cover will of course be included. The car has English export documents, so the new owner can easily register the car in his or her home country. The seller has a lot of experience doing this and can provide you with all sorts of information. The car is in a very good condition, starts, drives, shifts and brakes well. Summarised: a wonderful classic car that will only increase in value. The seller can deliver the car throughout Europe relatively cheaply! The car is located in Hengevelde, the Netherlands
