Triumph - Spitfire MKIV 1.3 - 1972

This car has been completely restored by me. After the restoration I drove 416 km with the car. I purchased the Spitfire as a car that was completely taken apart. The car was only disassembled at that time and nothing had been addressed. The only thing that the previous owner had done was to overhaul the engine block. It only had to be reassembled. I started with the chassis. This was fairly rusted through and not entirely straight anymore. I decided to replace the chassis with a good and intact copy. After having found that, I had it powder coated in the colour of the car. From that moment on I started to slowly build the parts on the chassis again. Neither cost nor effort has been spared to make the car as good and beautiful as possible. Everything is therefore new or overhauled. Fully equipped with PU rubbers. Now the bodywork. There was little work on it. Here and there small places were welded. You can’t see that anymore. After welding, I had the car completely sandblasted so no signs of rust are present in the metal, because that could possibly cause problems in the future. Thus, the new paintwork is completely redone from the bare metal. I have had the car repainted in the colour on the inside, the exterior, and the underside. Everything on the car is new or overhauled. Various things have been improved, such as the rubbers of the chassis and the brakes of the car. I have also repainted the hard top of the car in the colour. The hard top has yet to be finished building. A new headlining and the like are present. The seats still have to be reupholstered. The new upholstery is also present. The car should have a luggage rack. It is present, but not complete. Recent valuation report available. The car is rated as 2 +. The Dutch periodic vehicle inspection is valid until 26-02-2020. The car is in the Netherlands, Boelenslaan
