Triumph - TR3A - 1960

This wonderful Triumph TR3a with overdrive is in nice, used condition!

. The red leather interior was redone and is in very neat condition, the exterior has slight signs of wear over the years which resulted in the right patina! The body is solid and stainless. This TR3 has the following extra options: the much sought after overdrive, a chrome luggage rack, heater, spoke rims, Kenlowe fan, tonneau cover and side windows. The last owner imported the TR3A 20 years ago from Florida to the Netherlands and always maintained the car well.

. In order to make this car suitable for rallies, multiple improvements have been done such as installing a higher capacity radiator, high torque starter motor, alternator, “thin belt” v-belt conversion, stabiliser bar, front wheel suspension / carter protection, Koni telescopic shock absorbers, stainless steel exhaust system, electrical fuel pump, reversing light, etc. In addition, many parts have been renewed such as the H4 tripod headlights, wiring harness, shock absorbers, spiral springs & leaf springs.

. The high-quality canvas soft top and tonneau cover have also been renewed, these are in mint condition. The engine, carburettors, rear axle + differential, wheel suspension, gearbox and overdrive have been overhauled. The 2. 2 litre engine was made suitable for unleaded petrol and has been fitted with a fast road cam.
. It has a Dutch periodic vehicle inspection valid until 10-04-2020.

. This TR3A is very suitable for driving (international) tours & rallies!

. Naturally, this beautiful TR3A has slight signs of wear all around and slight damage, see photos.
