Trix Twin Railway (TTR), No. 377 'Meteor Diesel Express', a boxed 00-gauge three-car articulated AC diesel train set, circa 1950s, comprising powered streamlined driving car, articulated centre coach and matching unpowered driving-end car, constructed in metal and finished in the characteristic red, cream and grey Trix livery, with detailed window glazing, moulded underframes and streamlined cab ends, retained in its original fitted compartmented card box, the lid printed 'TRIX Meteor Diesel Express 377', together with the original Positive Direction Control switch, its original hard card Trix Meteor box and associated accessories and packing.* Literature: The Meteor represented one of Trix Twin Railway's most technically ambitious post-war train sets, its articulated three-car formation and streamlined appearance reflected contemporary enthusiasm for high-speed diesel railcars, whilst its remotely operated whistle and directional lighting gave it considerably more operational sophistication than most comparable British model railway sets of the period.
