Tsuchiya Koitsu (Japanese, 1870-1949). Shin-hanga Japanese woodblock print titled "Suma Beach," 1938, depicting the beach on a moonlit night. Marked with the artist's seal in the plate along the lower left. With a Doi Teiichi seal and printer's seal to the left margin.

Condition Report: The print is generally in good condition with no visible tears, losses, or major creases. All margins are visible under the frame; the paper is floating in the frame. The paper is toned; light browning. The color is bold and bright. Light creases and wear along the upper and right margins. To the upper right corner, there is possible water damage. Along the lower margin, there is paint mark, which appears to be original. Framed under plexiglass; not inspected out of frame. Light wear to the frame.
