Turkish Iznik-Style Polychrome Pottery Vase
A vintage Turkish polychrome glazed pottery vase in the Iznik tradition, of baluster form with a tall flaring neck. Hand-painted throughout with densely arranged stylized floral and foliate motifs in cobalt blue, green, red and black on a cream ground, with geometric and floral border bands. An old collection label on the underside identifies the piece as a “Turkish Iznik vase, 20th century, Ottoman Empire”; the period attribution has not been independently verified.
