Turkmen Beshir Rug - Wool on Cotton - Early 20th century

An attractive and rare antique handmade Beshir Turkmen wool rug circa 1900 measuring 210 x 158cm (6. 8' x 5. 1') . Panels of geometric motifs in deep red field surrounded with the similarly eye-catching borders. This Beshir rug was restored with couple of repairs done ( showing in the photos) as well as professionally cleaned and washed. One end kelim preserved and the other end stopper was secured. few localised wear commensurate with the age and usage. Very beautiful and rare piece with amazing colours ready to furnish your home. I do get daily updates from UPS, Parcel Force, Fed. Ex, DPD and DHL and their assurances thus far is business as normal. Almost all items are wrapped and sealed in the plastic bags to prevent any unnecessary exposure.
