For your bidding pleasure we present a sterling silver, turquoise cluster concho belt with a cardinal theme inlay. It features nine oval conchos and a matching buckle each highlighted with a cardinal inlay created with turquoise, coral, mother of pearl and onyx. Surrounding the central designs are clusters of turquoise cabochons set in sawtooth silver bezels, silver dots, twisted wires, scalloped edges and darkened silver backgrounds. MAKER: Hallmarked By: Fe H + JD (etched). Likely Zuni and possibly Navajo, based on style and design. One artist possibly did the silver work and the turquoise cluster work and another did the inlay inserts.
APPROX AGE: Vintage.
SIZE: The overall length measures approximately 39 1/2 inches. The buckle measures 3 3/4 inches wide by 2 7/8 inches from top to bottom. The conchos measure 3 3/8 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches from top to bottom. The total weight is 467.4 grams.
