Two 19th century gold, Lady's watch chains, one of four row fine link design with foiled ruby set slides, T-bar, key and seal, accented with black enamel, length 38.5cm; the second with turquoise-set twin slides, the T-bar concealing a watch key, length 27.0cm, both with French assay marks, approximate gross weight 59g
Both stamped with French assay marks for18-carat gold, with minor abrasions and scratches commensurate with age and use. Turquoise chain with some dis-colouration to some turquoise and some minor loses to black enamel. Ruby chain, one ruby in seal with surface reaching fracture, one ruby in spherical slider replaced with paste, all rubies with minor abrasions to facet edges and chain with minor loses to black enamel detail.
