Two Blue and White Dragon Chargers, Yongzheng Period

Two Chinese blue and white chargers dating from the Yongzheng period. Both feature continuous scenes of a dragon chasing a flaming pearl on their interiors and exteriors. One has inscriptions written on the bottom.

Dimensions are: 2 1/4 inches tall X 11 1/4 inches wide, 5.7 cm X 28.6 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Both have significant abrasions. One has iron pitting throughout and a chip to the rim. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
