Two Chinese Carved Famille Rose Snuff Bottle, Late 19th
Two Chinese carved famille rose snuff bottles dating from the late 19th century. Each bottle has a stopper with a spoon. One bottle features a Luohan, and the other depicts warriors in battle. Both have a 4-character mark on the bottom.
Dimensions are: 3 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches wide, 7.6 cm X 5.7 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both are in overall good condition with minor wear to the surface.
Provenance: From Mrs. Hillebrand in Chicago, Illinois, by descent; acquired in China and Hong Kong prior to the 1960s.
