Two Chinese Crystal Snuff Bottles, 19th Century

A group of 2 carved bamboo ground snuff bottles dating from the 19th century. Both have stoppers with spoons.

Dimensions are: the larger round snuff bottle measures 2 1/2 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide, 6.35 cm X 4.45 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: The square snuff bottle has minor chipping around the rim, both overall good condition.

Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
