Condition: the mug with ceramic basket weave style ground decoration, with some scattered fritting on the lip, foot and the raised areas of decoration; the other mug with fritting on the lip and foot, some small frits on the lip filled, restoration and overpainting to the lip, likely a chip and associated hairline crack, the crack extends below the overpainting and is approx. 3 1/2 inches in length, with a star form crack at the base and other possible scattered hairline cracks, the handle with a crack at the base where it attaches to the body
