Two Chinese Jade Plaques, 18-19th Century
Two Chinese jade plaques dating from the 18th to 19th century. The first plaque is chicken bone jade with double happiness characters on one side and a flowering branch and rock on the other. The other plaque is square-shaped jade showing a pine tree in a village on one side and a two-character mark on the other.
Dimensions of the first plaque are: 2 1/8 inches tall X 2 inches wide, 5.4 cm tall X 5.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both are in good condition.
Provenance: From a Dr. Wang in Northern California. Dr. Wang is a retired professor from the School of Business at California State University.
