Two Chinese Longquan Bowls, Yuan Dynasty
A group of two Chinese Longquan bowls dating from the Yuan dynasty. One bowl is lobed with four lotus motifs on the interior. The other bowl is smaller with incised linear decoration on the interior.
Dimensions are: the larger lobed bowl measures 3 1/2 inches tall X 11 3/4 inches wide, 8.9 cm X 29.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The larger bowl has two hairlines. The smaller bowl has one crack.
Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
