Two Chinese Yixing Tea Pots

Qing dynasty, lotus leaf form teapot supported on three snail form feet, leaf form lid with branch form finial and applied frog (detached) and shell decoration, branch form handle, impressed mark within a leaf to lid interior, 4-1/8 in.; teapot with Y-form bridge handle, lid with organic form handle and impressed mark to interior, 6 in. - Provenance: Collected in Shanghai, China prior to 1902 by Frederick and Margaret Haskell; By descent in family to Frances Arnold; Private Collection, Newnan, Georgia - Note: Objects from this personal collection were acquired in Shanghai, China between the years 1862-1902. They were collected by Frederick and Margaret Haskell. Mr. Haskell was the owner of the Japan and China Trading Company. The couple retired to Lake Weir Florida in 1902, bringing these collected objects with them to the United States and they descended through the family to current day.
