Two Cold War Era Polish Anti-Tank Mine Trainers MN-121/0-R
Great examples of the ingenious Polish MN-121 anti-tank mine, manufactured as training examples with additional weight added to simulate the handling characteristics of the operational mine. These examples are complete and inert and comply with current BATF guidelines. The operational MN-121 was designed for deployment from aircraft, specialized mine-laying systems, or artillery rockets. Mines were ejected from a storage canister, after which a small parachute deployed to maintain proper orientation during descent. Upon landing, the mine was ejected from the parachute assembly, allowing its spring-loaded legs to deploy and orient the mine upright. An interesting and unusual piece of Polish military ordnance history. Excellent display or museum pieces. Pick up recommended.
