ca. 1851-1861, Philadelphia, one signed and one attributed based on one of the gas keys, each in the rococo revival taste, the example with the patinated metal standard with gas keys signed "Cornelius Baker" on one side and "Philadelphia" on the other, the example with a quilted brass standard set with Cornelius's distinctive brass keys, with frosted and cut-glass-style shades.

Condition Report: Both are in good overall condition. They appear to have been cleaned, polished and lacquered. Both are electrified. The shades are of later date.
