comprising: a garniture of three ribbed ovoid vases and covers and two beaker vases, each of octagonal form, decorated with panels of flower urns alternating with panels of feathered foliage between lappet borders, the covers with lion finial, some with CK marks and numerals in blue for Cornelis Koppens, owner of De Metaale Pot factory;
and a garniture of three baluster vases and covers and two beaker vases, each of octagonal form, decorated with a basket of flowers within a moulded rocaille cartouche enclosing scrolling foliage, the covers with scroll finial, axe marks in blue for De Porceleyne Byl , 16 pieces

height of ovoid vase and cover 49 cm., 19 1/2 in.
height of baluster vase and cover 38.5 cm., 15 3/8 in.

Condition Report:
Overall in good decorative order and ready to place. Typical minor glaze flakes to rims and body overall, consistent with age and type. In further detail:

De Metaale Pot factory garniture:
The three large ribbed ovoid vases and covers - One with some minor restored chipping to the footrim, with associated minor overpainting to the zig-zag border and some associated clear lacquer spray to the lower body. The cover with restored sections to the everted rim with associated overpainting to the zig-zag border and some clear spray to dome; flake to nose of lion.
The second with some minor restored chipping to the footrim, with associated minor overpainting to the zig-zag border and some associated clear lacquer spray to the lower body and underside of base. The cover with restoration and overpainting to lion finial and restored sections to everted rim with associated overpainting to borders and clear lacquer spray to dome.
The third with evidence of extensive clear lacquer spray to the body and some overpainting to the upper rim, body and parts of the footrim, suggesting that sections have been broken and restuck (this restoration is well executed). The cover with lion finial broken and restuck through the lower body and the whole cover probably broken and restored as there is evidence of overpainting and clear spray to the surface.
The beaker vases: One with short hairline crack to upper rim and another minor branching haircrack to upper rim and typical minor flakes to upper rim and footrim; overall in good order. The other with approximately two-thirds section of upper rim and body broken and restored with associated overpainting and clear lacquer spray (well executed), and small flat chip to upper rim; also some restored chipping to the footrim.

De Porceleyne Byl garniture:
The baluster vases and covers - The first with small flat chip to underside of footrim, typical minor flakes and fine glaze hairline crack to reverse; the cover with 1.5 cm wide flat chip to underside edge of rim, chip to tip of one scroll on finial and typical glaze flakes overall.
The second in good order with typical minor flakes; the cover with uppermost scroll of finial chipped and typical glaze flakes.
The third with 1 cm. triangular chip to upper rim with associated 2 cm. hairline crack to neck and typical flaking; the cover with finial broken through and restuck in two places with traces of old glue and small chip to uppermost scroll and another scroll just below, and typical glaze flakes.
The beaker vases - Overall in good order with minor typical glaze flakes. One in good condition. One with 4 cm. very fine hairline crack to upper rim.
