Two Figural Cast Iron Boot Scrapes

19th century, first with two sphinx figures with leaf decorated base, 8 x 15-1/2 x 13 in.; second with two recumbent lions on scrolled supports above gadrooned base, indistinct signature at underside, "Regd...R & Co.", 11 x 21 x 13-3/4 in.

Condition Report: both with extensive surface rust and corrosion, weathering and other distress, both lacking side brushes; lion mounted example with break at base molding and central scrape currently detached
