The larger pocket housing two inscribed notes: Hannah Painter was born 1751 - 12 years old when she worked this pocket-book - it now being 142 years old - E.D. Cain; second note Found among my grand-mother Hannah Baily Dickinson's things - Elizabeth D. Cain.

In overall very fine condition. The larger lacking its tie. Each with minor wear and darkening commensurate with age and use.
