The first with shield shape pierced wheat and bellflower carved back above curved arms and upholstered seat raised on tapering square legs with spade feet; the second with quadruple arched back above pierced ribbon carved splats and curved arms over an upholstered seat with brass head trim, raised on square legs. 19th Century. {Approximate dimensions: Shield back 29 high x 16 1/4 wide x 13 1/2 inches deep, arch back 24 1/2 high x 16 wide x 14 1/2 inches deep.}._x000B_ Condition: Apparent repair to one arm, wear is good for the age.
