Two German Brass Alms Dishes

probably 17th century, hammered and incised decoration, larger example with Adam and Eve in Eden, marked "KOB" and "Ishu(?)" verso, 17 in.; smaller example with flower vase decoration, marked "KBE" verso, 14-3/4 in. - Provenance: David Walter-Ellis, London; Property from the Collection of Dudley and Constance Godfrey
Condition Report: surface dirt layer and accretion, some tarnish and oxidation, some areas of gilt loss, scattered dents and warping, both with later holes (likely for hanging); larger with two possible repairs to rim verso
