With pewter fittings and acanthus leaf thumb pieces, hand painted in polychrome with life like features, the first a drunken philosopher Herr Monkey holding an empty stein, 7 ¾" x 6 ⅜" x 4 ⅛"; second Bavarian hunter Herr Rabbit, wearing a jacket, over shoulder sack and holding a rifle under his arm, 8 ⅝" x 5 ½" x 4".
Condition: Good overall, original firing distress hairlines to bottoms, possible old restoration to monkey stein bottom foot.
