The Greek icon depicting Saint Sampson with others, gold leaf/gilt-painted (12" x 10 1/2"); the other, the Ascension of Saint Elijah in the Chariot (12" x 9 3/4"). Condition: both with craquelure, some in-painting/old repairs, spots of loss. Provenance: Private Collection, Northern California.
