Calcutta, fourth quarter 19th century, both embossed with rural scenes of villagers engaged in daily activities amid their abodes and surrounds, the larger ovoid with crested handle, molded rim and ogee-domed foot-ring, the smaller of slightly tapering barrel form, with "bamboo" handle and plain rim and lower acanthus band, both centering a void cartouche.

Condition Report: **Both pieces in good condition with minimal wear consistent with age and use. Two small dents (the largest 1/8") on the rim of the smaller mug; some pinpoint dings on the handle of the larger. No breaks or repairs noted. The larger mug marked (on the underside) "Sterling / Silver"; the smaller unmarked.
