Two J.C. Brown Ripple Front Beehive Clocks

1) J.C. Brown clock with rosewood ripple front case, original finish, hands, dials, movement, glasses and knob, 8-day brass time, strike and alarm movement, dial signed "J.C. Brown Bristol, CT., U.S.," movement and label signed "Forestville," dial as a shellac overcoat with minor paint loss most is which is not visible with the door closed, very small losses to label and slight wear at center of etched tablet, chip at top rear, runs and strikes, alarm functional. 19.25 in. high x 11 in. wide by 4 in. deep. 2) J.C. Brown miniature clock with ripple front rosewood case retaining the original finish, original 30-hour brass movement signed "J.C. Brown Forestville USA," original painted dial has been touched up and clear overcoat applied, club hands are original, original glasses in good condition, signed with "E.N. Welch" label having minor loss and tears at the top, old repair shop label pinned over it. 15.25 in. high x 9 in. wide x 7.75 in. deep.
