second quarter 19th century, including a jug modeled as a monkey in 18th-century gentleman's dress, with the top of the hat serving as a cover, h. 8-1/2", w. 3", d. 6", and the figure of a monkey dressed as a gypsy, with a pet monkey drummer, h. 9", w. 5-1/2", d. 5-1/4", each signed "J.P." on the bottom in underglaze blue.

Condition Report: **The jug with a restored handle, cover, hat brim and coat back. Some rubbing to the gilt. The gypsy monkey with some restoration to the basket, right arm of the pet monkey and the teapot on the ground, with a possible hairline repair.
