Two Japanese Lidded Kutani Porcelain Vessels

Japanese. White ground porcelain having rust red, polychrome and gilt decoration, comprising a handled basket with floral decoration and a double handled bowl with a figural farm scene. Both with character marks to the underside. Approx. of thebasket, h. 6.5", handle to handle 8". Provenance: From a Private Southern Estate.
Condition Report: Double handled bowl having a chip to the leaf on the lid, crazing, staining and firing imperfections; basket with adhesive tape residue and surface grime.
