19th century, with a worn interior yellow and melon glaze, the exteriors retaining a rich patina.

Condition Report: One jar has a drilled hole (1-1/4") to the rim. The other jar has some notable glaze cracks (mostly to the interior base), a few of which have opened up into hairline cracks. Both jars have chips to their rims and necks, and scattered nicks, pitting, accretions (moss and dirt), and surface losses to glaze and ground-all of which are consistent with age, material and outdoor use. Attractive and structurally sound.
