Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A pair of polychrome pottery vessels, a shallow dish and a carinated jug with a spout and handle. The dish has a serpentine motif, and the jug has concentric circles around the shoulder. Size of jug: 5" Diameter x 6" H (12.7 cm x 15.2 cm); bowl: 6" Diameter x 1.5" H (15.2 cm x 3.8 cm)

Condition Report: Restoration to rim of bowl with new material and overpainting to this area. Loss to the rim of spout, otherwise intact. Scattered manganese deposits on the surface of both.
