Two Pairs of 19th Century French Table Lamps. The larger of faience, modelled as straight-side cylinders, the bodies painted in celadon, and with low relief roosters among vining flowers painted in polychrome hues. These now mounted as a pair of Ditmar Luscious Duplex lamps. Together with a pair of porcelain bottles, molded with globular waists and elongated necks, enameled in light brown, and with round cartouches to fronts, painted in polychrome enamels with goat or dog in wide, verdant landscapes, with abstract floral designs in surround. This pair also mounted as oil lamps, and now electrified. Both pairs with metal mounts. Circa 1900 and 1880. {Approximate dimensions: 13 1/2" H. , 11" H., the bodies. The lamps 26" H. over all.}. Condition: Good overall condition. Short crack to neck of one vase, the first pair. Shallow glaze cracks, enamel and gilding wear to cartouches. Extensive patina to both pairs of metal mounts.
