Two Picture Frames, One Alligator

A 19th century gilt gesso frame and an early 20th century frame in genuine alligator.

Dimensions: The gesso frame has an interior measurement of 5 3/4" x 4 1/4" and the outside measurement is 9" x 8", the alligator frame is 9 1/4" x 7 1/4" at the interior and 13" x 11" at the exterior.

Provenance: From a Montgomery County collection.
Condition Report: Both with expected wear and minor losses.
