Two Pieces of Japanese Lacquer

Both late 19th century, a small lotus decorated vessel and a small portable food server with floral and foliate decoration.

Dimensions: The vessel is 3" in diameter and 2" tall, the server is 5" x 7 3/4" and 7 1/2" tall.

Provenance: From a Philadelphia estate.
Condition Report: The small vessel has several shrinkage cracks with associated surface losses, the server is in good condition with expected wear and minor losses.
