This lot features two custom-made precision firearm barrel tuners constructed from steel, brass, and aluminum. The first tuner is a clamp-on style featuring a bright steel body, a knurled adjustment ring, and a brass end-cap. The mounting section is split for clamping and utilizes two screws for tightening. The body is engraved with a micrometer-style graduated scale featuring the numbers 5, 10, and 15. The brass cap is hand-inscribed with the characters N5. The second tuner is a screw-on style with an internally threaded mounting end. It features a polished steel body, a knurled ring, and a dark metal end-cap. The body is engraved with a micrometer-style graduated scale featuring the numbers 5, 10, 15, and 20. Both items are accompanied by a hand-written paper tag identifying the maker as Robert D. Mauger. Length of clamp-on tuner: 3 1/8 inches Length of screw-on tuner: 3 1/4 inches. Pickup is Monday, Nov. 9, from 11 am to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot, or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
