Two Royal Doulton Ceramic Character Figurines Neptune and Old Father Time

Two Royal Doulton glazed ceramic character figurines. The larger figurine is a character jug of Neptune, the Roman god of the sea, featuring a crown of shells, a flowing grey beard, and a green dolphin-form handle. The base is printed with the Royal Doulton lion and crown mark above Neptune, D 6548, COPR 1960, Doulton and Co Limited, and multiple registration numbers including Rd No 897937, Rd No 40887, Rd No 8596, and Rd No 547/60. The smaller figurine depicts Old Father Time in a hooded blue robe holding a scythe and staff, with a functional clock set into the chest and an hourglass resting on a tree stump at the reverse. Its base is printed with the Royal Doulton lion and crown mark, Old Father Time, D 7069, Modelled by David B. Biggs, 1996 Royal Doulton, Limited Edition of 2,500, and hand-numbered 991, with additional hand-painted initials P 2.
