Two Royal Doulton Porcelain Seated Woman Figurines

Two Royal Doulton porcelain figurines executed in polychrome glazes. The first figurine, titled Ascot, depicts a seated woman in a green floral dress with white puffed sleeves and a wide-brimmed hat featuring a pink ribbon. The underside bears a green printed backstamp reading Made in England Royal Doulton surrounding a lion and crown emblem, above HN 2356 Ascot, and Modelled by Mary Nicoll with a copyright mark for 1967. The second figurine, titled Elyse, depicts a seated woman in a ruffled green dress with a yellow bodice and a teal floral hat. The underside features a green printed backstamp reading Made in England Royal Doulton surrounding a lion and crown emblem, above HN 2474 Elyse, and Modelled by Peggy Davies with a copyright mark for 1971. A small pink hand-painted mark reading pb is also present on the base.
