Two, Shoushan Tianhuang Seals in MOP Inlaid Box

Chinese, the box 19th century. Pair of carved figural shoushan tianhuang soapstone seals each having a recumbent guardian lion and housed in a fitted black octagonal mother-of-pearl floral inlaid lacquered box. The seals signed on thesides with characters to each matrix. Approx. of one seal h. 0.75", sq. 1"; box h. 1.75", w. 5.75", d. 3.75".
Condition Report: No chips to the seals; slight dullness to the lacquer.
