Two Similar Stamped Edgefield Stoneware Jugs

possibly early Pottersville Manufactory, circa 1820's, large bulbous stoneware jug with runny brown glaze over clay body, smaller ovoid jug withÿrunny grey green glaze over clay body, both with impressed "Y"s to base edge, thick strap handles to shoulders, double collared rims, tooling marks to entire bodies, 15 in. and 13-1/2 in.ÿNote: Tags on these jugs attribute them to Branham circa 1820's. Condition Report: glaze voids and anomalies as made, large jug with restorations to spout and neck, 16 in. stabilized hairline crack up side of jar to neck, two crisscrossing hairlines at base edge near "Y" traveling up jar under handle approximately 8 in. long,ÿand across base 5 in. other associated micro hairlines, clay body anomalies, 1/2 in. chip to clay body, pinhole in "Y", 3/4 in. chip to base edge with other minor wear and chips, small jug with small chip and two repairs to rim, two chips to clay body at belly, other minor chips and abrasions to glaze, chip and wear to base edge
