Description: Two Tiffany Gold Favrile Glass Floriform Bowls
Early 20th Century
The amber iridescent blue glass bodies formed with plateauing flared lips and raised with ten equidistant protruding ribs extending beyond the circular rim. The underside of the larger inscribed 1405 L. C. Tiffany - Favrile with 17896 / ASRT and studio label fragment near the ground pontil; the underside of the smaller inscribed L. C. Tiffany - Favrile and 14670 near the ground pontil. A few isolated areas of minor abrasion with associated surface deterioration and losses; a few scattered areas of minor contact staining, minor scratching along the underside; accumulated dirt, debris, and residue to recesses.
