the first example, 1999, "Sac Plat" with dual vachetta rolled handles and interior key ring tab, the void interior lined with Vuittonite with one side patch-labeled "Louis Vuitton/Paris/made in France", impressed "MI0999" at one upper side near the seam, h. 15", w. 14", d. 3-1/2"; handle drop: 4-3/4"; the second example, 1984, "Sac Weekend", the exterior leather-trimmed on all sides with a small slip pocket between the attached straps on both sides, the base all leather with five half-round metal feet, the leather-lined interior with a large half-gusseted zippered pocket on one side, impressed "Louis Vuitton/Paris/made in France" above the zipper and "844" within the gusset, h. 15-1/2", w. 22", d. 7-1/2"; handle drop: 6".
Condition Report: SAC PLAT: Exterior good with very minor scattered wear to edges. The glued top edge with a scuff or two and several small tan "smears" along one side. Interior surfaces with scattered stains, small surface losses and blisters. SAC WEEKEND: Exterior monogram surfaces good. The leather with scuffs, mainly to edges, throughout. The leather strip trim with general wrinkling. Interior surfaces overall good. The zipper pocket interior with an oblong whitish stain and negligible small scuffs/stains.
