Two ancient glass vessels, Roman – Islamic Periods, A Roman pale blue-green glass ovoid bottle with funnel neck, set on a folded ring base, circa 4th-5th Century A.D., 16cm high and a pale green glass bowl with sloping sides, central omphalos and inward rolled rim, the exterior with moulded stippled decoration around a central rayed motif, circa 10th-11th Century A.D., 3.8cm high, 14cm diam, a crack to one side (2) Provenance: Schroder collection, Acquired on the 4 August 1935 from J & F Alouf, Baalbeck, Lebanon.
